Accessibility

3iDATA wants 3idata.com to be usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology. This statement describes the standard we aim for, the features we've built in, and how to reach us if something isn't working for you.

1. Our commitment

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines help make web content perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for people with a wide range of disabilities. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we treat it as part of building the Site well rather than as an afterthought.

2. What we've built in

The Site is deliberately simple — static HTML and CSS, with no scripts, pop-ups, cookie banners, or auto-playing media to get in your way. Concretely, it includes:

  • Semantic structure — proper HTML5 landmarks (header, nav, main, article, footer) and a logical heading order so assistive technology can navigate the page.
  • Skip-to-content link — a keyboard-reachable "Skip to content" link at the top of every page.
  • Full keyboard operability — all links and navigation work with the keyboard alone, in a sensible tab order, with no keyboard traps.
  • Visible focus indicators — a clear, high-contrast outline shows which element is focused.
  • Sufficient color contrast — text and interactive elements are designed to meet WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratios.
  • Responsive, reflowing layout — content adapts to screen size and orientation and remains usable when text is enlarged.
  • Reduced-motion support — we honor the prefers-reduced-motion setting and keep motion minimal and non-essential.
  • Readable code samples — code blocks in articles are isolated to left-to-right rendering so they stay legible in every language, including right-to-left locales.
  • Meaningful text alternatives — informative images carry alternative text, and purely decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.

3. Ongoing effort and known limitations

We continue to review and improve the Site. Content we link to on third-party websites is outside our control and may not meet the same standards. If you encounter any other barrier, we'd like to hear about it so we can fix it.

4. Feedback and contact

If you have trouble using any part of this Site with assistive technology, or have a suggestion, please email info@3idata.com with the subject line "Accessibility." It helps if you can tell us the page, the assistive technology and browser or device you're using, and what went wrong. We take accessibility reports seriously and will make reasonable efforts to address them promptly.
